Sberbank says to spend 3 bln rbl on measures vs coronavirus

MOSCOW, Apr 30 (PRIME) -- Russia's biggest lender Sberbank will spend more than 3 billion rubles to fight the coronavirus, the bank said in a statement on Thursday.

"Due to the tough situation that the entire Russian society faces, Sberbank is allocating more than 3 billion rubles, including contributed by the executives and employees, to the fight against the pandemic, creation and production of vaccines and pharmaceuticals against COVID-19, and creation of conditions for their affordability for the citizens in our country," the bank said.

The money will also be allocated tosupport of regional healthcare organizations and supply of equipment, Sberbank said.
